Amazon reached $1.1 billion deal for Twitch

Twitch is the most known website where people watched other people play games. With the rising trend of this kind of activity, Amazon makes a deal of $1.1 billion to buy Twitch.

The deal for Twitch is the latest sign of the way that behavior once on the fringe can, in the hands of tech entrepreneurs, turn into huge online communities in no time. Twitch did not exist a little more than three years ago, and it now has 55 million unique viewers a month globally, helping turn games into a spectator event as much as a participatory activity.

Other companies, includes Google, are also putting up a deal for Twitch as such they are thinking that this kind of activity is the new era of video game.
