Yes, the Swedish fashion giant H&M is setting its eye on opening a branch in one of the progressing provinces in the Philippines, Cebu.
“We are very excited to be in Cebu! With the growing interest and appreciation of Cebuanos toward H&M and the current growth upturn of retail in one of the most developed provinces in the Philippines, we believe this year is the best time to be here,” said Fredrik Famm, H&M country manager for Southeast Asia.
Along with the opening, the company said that the will hire close to 100 people to work for Cebu. Positions for store management, visual merchandising and sales, and others.
The first H&M is located in SM Megamall’s Fashion Hall in Mandaluyong. There are also branches in SM Makati, SM North EDSA, Robinsons Magnolia, and Robinsons Place Manila.
