New hospital opened by Tim Tebow in Davao City

In the year 2011, the Tim Tebow Foundation that it was planning to construct the Tebow CURE Hospital in Davao City, which broke ground in January 2012. Construction was completed last September of this year.

After receiving their official operating license from the Department of Health, the Tebow CURE Hospital’s grand opening is said to be held on the spring of 2015. Though, the Hospital is now operating already to help children with critical orthopedic needs who could not afford the medication.

Tebow said in a statement, “ “I was born in the Philippines while my parents served as missionaries, and I have always had a great love and passion for the Filipino people.” He added, “It is so exciting to be able to provide healing and care for these incredibly deserving children halfway around the world,

Tebow CURE Hospital, a 5-story building with 30-bed facility and 3 operating rooms specialized in orthopedic surgeries, is composed of 54 staff who provides children with care. Currently, 17 out of 30 bed are available.

The opening of the Tebow CURE Hospital is the fulfillment of long-held dreams and many prayers,” said Dale Brantner, president and CEO of CURE International. “We are excited to partner with the Tim Tebow Foundation to bring healing to the children of the Philippines in Jesus’ name.”
