Philippine President Benigno Aquino III visited Bohol area to express support to citizens. Along with it, he assures the earthquake victims that the government is full pack in helping them out.
He also addresses strict warning to all businesses selling goods not to do price increase.
“Reminder… once a state of calamity is declared, there are price controls. You mark it up, you are in violation, and there will be sanctions,” he said, adding, “I assure you, we will be monitoring everybody’s compliance with the said law.”
The two provinces, Bohol and Cebu, are under the state of calamity after damages brought by the 7.2 magnitude earthquake.
