The company for women gives teachers a reason to smile after Yolanda

Avon Philippines will be giving 150 teachers and non-teaching staff a beauty packs. They are also looking into giving out lipsticks to other teachers in Region 6 and 8 who are affected by the Super Typhoon Yolanda.

“Avon is humbled to be given this privilege, through our lipsticks, to have a role in these teachers’ heroism as they return to their teaching posts for the sake of the students whom they serve. We are grateful to DepEd for making us a partner in this initiative of helping make lives beautiful again for these teachers,” said Faith Fernandez Aranton, Avon Philippines head for PR and communications.

In the hope of re-opening classes in the typhoon affected areas, the Department of Education is calling out for donations aiding the needs of public teachers.
