Typhoon hit area received donation from Palecek

San Remigio, Cebu, received a donation from Palecek to rebuild damaged schools in the area due to the aftermath brought by the Typhoon Haiyan.

Palecek is a furniture, lighting and accessories manufacturer. According to its vice president, Andrew Palecek:

“It is difficult to see all of the catastrophic destruction caused by the typhoon and it is clear significant aid is still needed from the international community for this region to recover,” Palecek said. “As a company, it is important for us to invest in the people here and ensure school facilities are safe and conducive environments for education.”

For the record, Anapong Integrated School in Cebu serves over a total of 450 students raging from kindergarden to high school.
