A memo letter sent to dealers about warnings after Paul Walker’s tragic car crash riding the Carrera GT. Inside the letter stated that the car had “all the disadvantages of a racecar” and says that “this vehicle cannot drive over a Foster Beer can that is lying on its side” without being damaged.
It further said: “The Carerra GT is as close to a racecar as we will ever get. The car has all the disadvantages of a racecar. You need help negotiating small inclines. You need to be aware of what type of road surface you are on.”
