Have you ever wonder why PCSO won’t reveal winner’s names?

Right after netizens questioned PCSO if was there really a winner last Monday for the Grand Lotto 6/55 prize of P249.7 million, PCSO expressed their answer on why they don’t divulge the information about the winner.

“The PCSO wants to reveal all the information about the winners to prove there are jackpot winners of the lotto games, but we can see, and it is our responsibility to the winners (to protect them) that their safety and security will be compromised (if they were revealed). You know that if the bad elements get to know about them, they and their children might be kidnapped because they have the money,” said Zabella, an assistant manager for Gaming Products Development and Marketing Sector.

According to the PCSO manager, the winner of last Monday’s draw is a 59-year-old woman from Muntinlupa City. She claimed her prize last Thursday.
