US to add more aid to the typhoon-hit area in PH, says Kerry


Seeing the devastation done by the super typhoon Yolanda in Tacloban City with over 6,000 people have lost their lives, the US have prepared something for the area.

The US Secretary of State, John Kerry, offered a $25 million additional humanitarian aid to the typhoon hit area in the country.

“We are keeping in our thoughts and prayers the nearly 1,800 people who still remain missing,” he said. “The United States is committed to doing whatever we can as we go forward to try to help our friends in the Philippines to recover.”

For the record, US will have already given $86 million to help the country recover from the typhoon.
