Violin memorabilia from Titanic sold at $1.4 million


The violin owned by Wallace Hartley was found drowned together with the others on board the Titanic ship. The said violin was played by the Titanic bandmaster while the ship was about to sunk for the purpose of giving comfort to passengers who are panicking as they were seeking a life saving jackets.

It was recently auctioned by Henry Aldridge and Son in Devizes and the memorabilia was sold to a British collector for $1.4 million.
