A 20-degree temperature hit many areas in the Philippines


According to PAGASA, the temperature felt in different places in the country is just normal for months of January to February. The degree temperature is due to the northeast monsoon that brings cold and dry winds coming from China.

Looking into the temperature in Baguio City, it has reached 8.4 degrees on Monday that is already past 5 a.m. For the record, its lowest temperature ever recorded in that city was 6.3 degrees Celsius happened last January 18, 1961.

Metro Manila reached 18.4 degrees last Monday.

It is expected that the 20-degree temperature will still further drop for the coming days.
