A private helicopter crashed into the Manila Bay waters on Sunday

The chopper operated by Aviation Enterprises, the Bolkow 105, delivered relief goods in the Visayas. Upon flying back to its home base in Clark, Pampanga, the helicopter encountered an engine problem.

The two passengers on board, Captain James Eagle and Captain Iren Dornier, are now safe after being spotted in the waters by a C-130 aircraft.

According to the C-130, they were able to get the mayday alert from the said chopper. The C-130 circled to look for the location of the signal, found the two, thrown a life raft and alerted the nearest coast guard.
