April 15 is fast approaching. The deadline date for filing tax in the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). But there is the huge problem for companies and self-employed businesses. BIR’s online tax filing is not compatible with most computers used in the Philippines. BIR’s Electronic Filing and Payment System (eFPS) and Electronic BIR Forms (eBIRForms), these are intended for a paperless tax filing. But, according to most users, these online process gave them a headache.
The compatibility is the main issue. The eBIRForms program only runs Windows Vista, Windows 7, or higher. For those who are using older Windows XP or rival Mac OS are unsupported.
None technical people are the one faced with difficulty with this online process.
