A complex will soon be built in Palo, Leyte and will be named after Pope Francis. The said complex is expected to completely rise next year, just in time for papal visit on January of 2015.
According to Palo Archbishop John Du, the construction of the complex will compose of an orphanage, a chapel, a clinic, and a home for the elderly. The construction will start in Metropolitan Cathedral of our Lord’s Transfiguration compound in Palo. The funding of the infrastructure is funded by the Pontifical Council Cor Unum for Human and Christian Development.
