The month of March has already stepped in and a lot of people are looking forward to having a vacation, especially going home this April’s Holy Week. And going home, especially to provinces, entails traveling via sea and land. So, as early as this month, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board started to inspect some 300 buses in Luzon area.
According to LTFRB, they found minor violations and one of those was most buses lacked PWD signage and seats for disability. The board has issued warning to bus companies and were asked to comply before the Holy Week strikes.
Furthermore, the LTFRB said that it is expected that there will be an increase of 300% passengers that are going to travel from March 30 to April 4.
