MRT-7 starts from Bulacan to Quezon City

Finally, the Philippine government has approved financial guarantees for MRT 7 as is it an important requirement for availing development assistance loan from the Japanese government, which will provide most of the financial support for this project. According to MMDA, the lack of a guarantee was the main cause of the delay of contructing the project.

Furthermore, a private sector that will develop MRT-7 is Universal LRT Corp. Ltd., and is being backed by San Miguel Corporation and Salvador Zamora III.

MRT-7 will be a 22.8-kilometer-long rail line that will start from North Avenue station in Edsa, Quezon City, passing through Commonwealth Avenue, Regalado Avenue and Quirino Highway up to the proposed intermodal transportation terminal in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.
