The newly rehabilitated Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 is experiencing water leakage starting last May 27. Those travellers’ pre-departure area are at east and west concourse are badly affected whenever rain strikes.
When rain pours, airline personnel assists passengers preventing them from getting wet by holding up an umbrella.
The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) has yet to determine the cause of the leakage. MIAA spokesperson Dave De Castro said that Terminal 1 is undergoing waterproofing. Rehabilitation is said to be finished in June 2015.
