OFW remain killed in Libya now in PH

The OFW’s remains, who was the only one killed in the rocket explosion in Zawiya, arrived in Ninoy Aquino Internation Airport (NAIA) via Emirates Airlines flight EK 332. Families, representatives from the Office of the Vice President and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration was there to wait for the arrival of the remains.

The 31-year old OFW worked for two years in Libya. He was set to go home this month after his contract will expire.

The government is still calling for all OFWs in Libya to leave the country as the alert status level remains to 4.
