Specific areas in Rizal, Pasig, and some parts of the city of Quezon experienced PLDT downtime for both landline and internet. According to most of the users, they are unable to make or receive calls even though they telephones have dial tone. Internet connection is also having a problem.
The scope of downtime affects both residential and business customers in Metro Manila, Cavite, and Laguna.
According to PLDT, they have experienced outage at around 10:00 am because of malfunctioning of one of the switching facilities in Quezon City.
