Taal volcano shows 7 quakes activity


According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanoloy and Seismology, Philvolcs, Taal Volcano has been rocked with 7 volcanic earthquakes at the western sector of the Main Crater Lake, the highest number as of the month of July.

Taal Volcano was put into Alert Level 1, signaling that people should stay away form the crater since it may have sudden steam explosiions and high levels of toxic gases.

Since Taal’s last explosion in 1977, it has still continuously shows the signs of being active with strong earthquakes, ground fractures, and gas emmissions.
