28 dialysis machines were turned over to city government


Mayor Joseph Estrada’s goal of setting up a dialysis center for the poor is on working progress.

There are a total of 28 brand new dialysis machines brought to the city government on Monday. Officials from barangay 128 and Zone 10 in Tondo brought seven ambulances which is to be distributed to six government hospitals.

“The barangay council was able to generate accumulated savings of about P30 million so we used it to buy our own fire truck and ambulance,” according to barangay chair Sigfred Hernane.

The said equipments will be used for the new Manila Renal Center, that is expected to be build and fully functional not later the end of this year.
