United States Embassy in the Philippines has started issuing visa to same sex couple last December 2.
On its official website, it says “Overturning DOMA signifies that the US federal government must extend all federal rights and privileges of marriage to any married couple, regardless of sexual orientation”
The first gay couple who received fiancé visas are Noel Amaro and Robert Cotternman. And, the other one are Maria Limson Gahuman and Maria Antonia.
Homosexual couple is accepted and can marry in 16 to 50 American states. Philippines is not yet open to the idea of gay, lesbian or the third sex community.
