Tax lien from IRS Pacquiao’s US properties

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) lifted the tax lien on Manny and Jinkie Pacquiao’s US properties, thus, allowing them already to sell their mansion in Los Angeles, California.

A news was released on December 10 stating that Pacquiao owes $18 million to IRS where his lawyer Tranquil Salvador denied.

According to the IRS, “a federal tax lien constitutes a legal claim against your property when you neglect or fail to pay a tax debt…” in order to protect government’s interest and covers real estate, personal property and financial assets.

The couple is selling their property in Los Angeles worth $2.7 million to buy more private residence.
