China’s lunar probe launches for soft landing


Today marks one of the significant days of China as it launched its first probe to land on the moon. The lunar probe, Chang’e-3, blasted off from Xichang Satellite Launch Centre in southwestern Sichuan province of China.

According to its latest news on the location of the probe, it is has now entered the designated orbit. This just means that China has successfully launched the craft.

President Xi Jinping expressed that he wanted China to go further in terms of science and technology. The inspiration of this new venture is brought by the growing technological prowess of China.
