Facebook has collected $10 for Nepal relief operation

Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook CEO, made an announcement on his official Facebook page that they have raised more than $10 million through the “Donate” button they put up. He also mentioned that Facebook itself will be giving $2 million donation for recovery of the area affected by the earthquake.

Facebook also put back the safety status and location button. Around 7 million people responded that they are safe after the disaster. Many families and friends were notified and that makes help easier to reached affected people.
