However, the evil geniuses at PLDT graciously turned down the offer of Globe. PLDT on the other hand drafted its own proposal that will benefit them rather than the multitude of consumers who can experience a high speed internet.

Apart of getting high speed internet at an affordable price, Globe said if IP peering will be implemented it will encourage a lot of multinational companies to relocate their services in the country which could benefit the economy’s GDP.

With PLDT on its high chair, it still wouldn’t agree to a partnership as it would get a huge chunk of its own pie.
