Deprivation of sleep is linked to kid’s gaining of weight, depression, and results to low grades at school. And, one common reason affecting a child’s performance is staying late at night because they are glued in front of their computers.
“Using technology in the bedroom may result in sleep loss, delays in initiating sleep, daytime sleepiness and more,” the study’s lead author, Teresa Arora.
And, guess what?
The Social Networking sites are increasingly one of the biggest reasons for loss of sleep. Not just for adults, but for children as their lives are already hooked as well with technology.
