Christmas babies in Pittsburgh

At Magee-Women’s Hospital at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, the new born babies were sent home wrapped in a specially hand -made Christmas stockings.

The so called “Magee Knitters” are tasked to knit little caps for newborn babies which started since September 2014. Now, this Christmas, these knitters made it more special.

For the last fifty years, Redlands community hospital in California and Long Beach Memorial Medical center are also doing the same thing – sending babies home in Christmas stockings.
