The administration will work towards making a transplant facility in each therapeutic school in the country to conquer any hindrance in the middle of interest and accessibility of human organs for transplantation.
As indicated by Health Minister J P Nadda, “At present all transplant facilities are available in metropolitan cities and 95 per cent are in private sector. There is a need to increase the facilities in other parts of the country. The Ministry will work to create a transplant facility in every medical college in the country in a phased manner.”
Health Ministry has chosen to bestow training in organ and tissue transplantation at all government hospitals even as he recognized a “delay” with respect to the legislature in advancing organ donation.
